These are just some of the impressions shared by young people after their summer travels.
This summer, Svitlana, Liuba, Uliana, Olya, Olya, and Vasyl successfully took part in the Orphans Future Foundation’s “Summer Journey 2026” program!
Instead of traveling in large groups, each participant independently chose their own unique destination and a convenient time to travel throughout July and August.
Our young travelers explored incredible places across Ukraine and abroad. Their journeys included:
- The magnificent Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle
- The breathtaking and powerful Carpathian Mountains
- The crystal-clear high-mountain Lake Synevyr
- The ancient and charming city of Lutsk
- The Tustan rock complex and nature reserve
- Sweden and Greece
For our young people, this was much more than just a vacation. It was an important step toward independence — an opportunity to practice communication, navigate unfamiliar places, make their own decisions, and successfully develop the skills needed for adult life.
The “Summer of Adventures – 2026” project is designed to give young people with a background in institutional care the freedom to choose their own summer travel experience while creating positive memories that contribute to their social integration and personal development.
Goal To provide graduates of residential care institutions, aged 18–35, with the opportunity to independently choose a tourist trip based on their own interests and preferences.
